The Public Consultation Event for the Preferred Option of the Carrickmines Shanganagh River Flood Relief Scheme will be held the 13th of December 2023. The purpose of this event is to update the public and other interested parties of our progress now that the preferred option has been defined. In the next stage of the scheme, the feedback from this event will assist us in developing the preferred option for planning submission.

This is an opportunity for the public and those affected by flooding to provide information to the project team.
The project team will be present to explain the preferred option and the assessments that have been carried out to this stage. You can drop in at any time to chat to a member of the project team, review the measures presented and discuss your experiences of flooding.
The information posters and feedback questionnaire will be available on the project website after the event. If you are unable to attend, we will welcome you to review the materials and provide us your feedback.
